Gated Community
Sand Castle is a private community requiring a code to enter the property. All owners have a unique code assigned to them as does anyone renting property at Sand Castle. First Responders also have an assigned code to allow quick and easy access to the property.
2 - Community Swimming Pools
Sand Castle has 2 amazing swimming pools that residents and guests can enjoy. Lawn chairs, tables, and benches surround both rectangularly shaped swimming pools. Both pools are maintained in great shape and are available year round. Pool hours and rules are posted clearly at the child-safe entrance gate.
17 - Boat Slips
Being a "fisherman's paradise", Sand Castle has 17 Boat slips available for both owners and renters. The Property Manager is responsible for assigning the boat slips on a first come, first serve basis.
Private Boat Ramp
Sand Castle owners are extremely lucky to have their own private boat ramp available to them on property. With a limited number of public boat ramps on South Padre Island, Sand Castle owners can easily launch their watercraft at any time of the day or night. The boat ramp is kept under combination lock, as it is only available for owner use.

Fish Cleaning Station
After a great day of fishing on the Lower Laguna Madre, both owners and guests can easily clean their catch at the Fish Cleaning Station located at the entrance of the Fishing Dock. The station is equipped with a fresh water hose, cutting board, and cleaning brush. The station also has an electrical outlet and overhead light for those late night fishermen.
Fireworks over the Bay
Being located so closely to the entertainment district, Sand Castle owners and guests are able to enjoy the weekly Fireworks over the Bay from the comfort of their front/back porch, the fishing dock, or the picnic area. Fireworks are a popular attraction that are scheduled every Thursday and Friday evening at 9:15 pm beginning Memorial Day and running through Labor Day.

Lighted Fishing Dock
An extremely popular area at Sand Castle has to be our Lighted Fishing Dock. It's popularity is not only due to the awesome fishing at night, but also for a place to sit and enjoy the most majestic sunsets every evening. The Lighted Dock has a fishing light that operates on a timer (1 hour) and is constantly used throughout the summer. Owner and guests have been fortunate enough to land some very impressive fish, including speckled trout, redfish, flounder, and many other different species. The Dock has benches, a fish cleaning station with running water and is available day and night.
On-site Management
Sand Castle's Manager's Office is located between Buildings C & D. Owners can pick up their mail here and speak with the Property Manager during normal business hours. Our Property Manager also lives on site and can easily be reached in case of an emergency.
On-site Laundry Facilities
Got dirty laundry? Not a problem!
Sand Castle offers its owners and tenants the opportunity to wash and dry their clothes after a long and restful stay at South Padre Island. For a very nominal fee, doing laundry can be taken care of right here on property. The facilities has 4 washer and 4 dryers available for owners and their guests.
Spectrum Cable
The cable provider at Sand Castle is Spectrum TV. Every unit at Sand Castle has free access to the Basic Service provided by Spectrum TV. In addition, owners are able to upgrade their service to include any other premium channels at their own expense.
High Speed Internet
Along with the cable service, owners and residents are also able to enjoy High Speed Internet while staying at Sand Castle.
